The Official Fonging Kit

Following the critical acclaim received for the hilarious yet inspirational book Fonging for the Soul, Peace Evolutions, LLC introduced its new Official Fonging Kit at the International New Age Trade Show, June 28-30, 2008 in Denver, Colorado.

“I’m glad that people will now be able to have the tools to fong anywhere they want, with the convenience of this portable Fonging Kit,” said the book’s author, Erasmus Caffery. “It’s just not practical to carry full size oven racks around with you in the car, on a bus or plane, or to business meetings, so this little kit is perfect when traveling or when you just need to have a quick fong.”

The Washington Post called 'Fonging for the Soul' an "excellent book ... , which delves into the co(s)mically spiritual practice of hanging an oven rack from your fingers and then sticking said fingers into your ears while others tap the rack with kitchen utensils." That is actually what fonging is; one holds an oven rack up by two shoestrings (or other kinds of strings), placing one’s fingers in one’s ears, while friends (or even strangers) tap on the rack with kitchen utensils or other types of common household implements. The sound is not apparent to those watching, but the aural resonance experienced by the person being fonged is lovely! “What you hear are really the healing sounds of the Universe,” says Caffery, “though many people don’t immediately understand the significance.”
